Labelloot began in 2003 as an ebay site with the idea of bringing unique home decor items to the web. It wasn’t until 2005 that we adopted the name Labelloot which was based on one of Diane’s clothing labels ‘Label’.
In 2010 we began sourcing antique and vintage furniture and collectable items to enable our daughter to work from home with our new grand-daughter Bailey. Based on Diane’s extensive background of buying and selling antiques for her previous Sydney and Gold Coast stores, we were able to help Nicole set up Bailey & Co Antiques which we proudly market on our website.
Over the years Diane has consistently discovered that she has the ability to forsee the latest home décor trends before they become mainstream, and she looks forward to sharing her ideas with you on this blog.
In 2008 I came up with an initial design for our website which I totally revamped in 2010 after teaching myself some html, php and other geeky web stuff with the help of w3schools.com.
On New Years Day 2012 I started our blog page, which is a work in progress, with WordPress which I can highly recommend.
In July 2010 Diane, Nicole, her fiance Jason, and I opened our Homewares & Gifts – Antiques & Vintage furniture warehouse located at 2/36 Wells Road, Seaford, Victoria to the public on Saturday’s between 12 noon and 3pm. Please drop in to see us if you are in the Melbourne / Mornington Pennisula area, we’d love to meet you.
We hope you enjoy our blog and look forward to your comments, ideas and suggestions.
